Midweek Date Night & Shoes.....,

Blouse, DVF (old) / Jeans, Zara (S/S13) / Bag, Gucci (old) / Shoes, Christian Louboutin (old)

We had the luxury of going out just together on Tuesday night to our local Italian ....... no occasion, we just fancied it and Nanna was obliging for an hour or two.

So my safe proof formula of nice top, jeans and heels was put on. The shoes being a Christmas present off Hubby a few years back ..... ( well before marriage, kids and the recession....) I love nude shoes, they go with most things and have a leg lengthening effect. I have picked my favourite nude shoes about in 3 price brackets, including the ones I am wearing .... ( Very Expensive, Expensive and Affordable)

You may think I would of gone of Kate Middleton's favourite LK Bennett Sledge, although I like them I think the slight platform is a tad dated now and I much prefer the pointed toe which lends it self to wearing with jeans better, so I went for their Florete style.

What would I like to add to my shoe collection ...... well of course a pair of Sophia Websters'. Her collection for J.Crew is truly girly and divine, my favourites being,

SOPHIA WEBSTER for J.CREW - ALICIA PUMPS

How good would the polka dot Sophia Webster Penelope pumps below look with a simple white shirt and jeans on a date night, now they have sold out like most of the collection but again LK Bennett have some colourful shoes with a similar vibe this season and have 25% off with Marie Claire at the moment and for just for £14 you can get almost a perfect look alike at Primark!!

1. SOPHIA WEBSTER FOR J.CREW - PENELOPE PUMPS / 2. LK BENNETT COLETTE £185 / 3. PRIMARK POLKA DOT SHOES £14

Do you like classics like the nude heel, or the colourful Sophia Webster's or even better has any seen the Primark homage in the flesh???

As ever thanks for reading.

  1. I honestly don't have any nude heels but the M&S ones are really tempting at that price! Love the Sophia Webster for JCrew but so expensive and I couldn't walk in them anyway! x

  2. I did nearly buy a pair of the pointy nude patent courts from M&S earlier this year but didn't. Couldn't honestly say why but they have been on my radar. I think they also must be the right hue for your skin tone too. Some of them are too pink and not so good.

And when I check out Primark - I will let you know about the shoes if they have them in. Like Sharron - I can't walk in them but there is no harm in ogling :o)

  4. I need a nude heel, definitely, and, in fact, I need a selection of heels that I feel comfortable in. This means searching for ones that are not too high. I am loving the Primark ones here ( talk about close! ) You are looking lovely, as always, for your' night out. H x

  6. The Primark shoes are a really good lookey-likey of the Penelope pumps, although I do think the heel on the Penelope looks much more elegant. The Loubs look totally wonderful as do the Alicia pumps.
Much praise for your DVF blouse as well - that looks really nice!
