FM40 Style - A Gift For Me .....

Coat, DVF / Jumper, Boden  / Boots, R&B / Bag, Mulberry/ Fur Pompom Key Ring PoppyLondon

Yesterday it was N's Christmas nativity "Cock-a-doodle-Christmas" my little boy was a lamb and he said his lines perfectly. I love going to these things they just make your heart glow and fill you full of emotion.

I wore the above outfit and my Mulberry bag was adorned with a gift I received from poppylondon clothing for featuring their pompom fur hat on my blog .... A pompom keyring, thank you! So like most fashionistas this season I let it dangle from my bag. They would make a perfect gift for your friends, sisters or mums.

Here are some other things I would personally like to receive and that would make lovely gifts for any special female in your life.

Are you doing well with your Christmas shopping? If you aren't M&S have 50% off gifts this weekend here, I got some really cute Burts Bees gift sets, from there for the teachers. I am doing ok with my shopping, I have just got the task of writing the last of my cards and the enjoyable task of wrapping the presents, the creative streak in me likes this bit.

Have an enjoyable weekend everyone.

  1. Hi Anne Marie, love the blog. How are you getting on with your Boden jumper? Mine bobbled terribly and became too shapeless after one wash. Back they both went, which was a shame as they were so comfy!

    1. Hi! Thank you for your kind comment. I have only hand washed my jumper in woolite and dried it flat, so taking this extra care the jumper is ok after its wash. I read some reviews and thought this was the best way instead of doing a machine wash as the care instructions say, such a shame it's doesn't machine wash great, as its a great jumper. My Bobbling is ok, I find if you don't use softner the bobbling doesn't happen so much, I just use woolite for my woolies.

  2. I love the pompom – I have got the Jigsaw one for my niece as a Christmas present. I am sorely tempted to keep all these goodies for myself! I like your gift picks - have asked my mum for the Monica Vinader Fiji in gold with a black braid and 'anything by Diptyque'. Great minds think alike! Annabelx

    1. We are shopping twins Annabel! I was wondering what coloured cord to go for next, when I finally get my Fiji. I got my other in the sale and the cord was khaki not my 1st choice, but I really like it. X

  3. I'm about to nip over to the M&S site - I need to ramp up the Christmas shopping for others rather than for myself. And what a chic colour your pompom is - I love it!

  5. Just a comment on washing the off duty jumper...I bought one last year and have washed it in the machine on a hand wash cycle using Woolite - with no problems. I wash all my wool clothes this way and have never had a problem. There is now a bit of pilling on the jumper but that's usually associated with wear. I don't think any wool does not pull eventually. I was in a Pure shop recently (the cashmere shop) and the shop assistant was wearing a Pure jumper from the currant season that looked very bobbled...to the point it made me think why spend on expensive cashmere if it pills...and I went and ordered another v neck cashmere jumper from Uniqlo for 49.99 - in cream - same as the grey one you and I have! They are having 10 pounds off cashmere this week!

    1. Forgot to say I always dry woollens flat too! And I never use softener (in fact I never use softener at all.)

    2. Mine is fine Also by washing it by hand in woolite, and then I put it on a rinse & a slow spin in the machine. I will now always buy my cashmere from Uniqlo for the value and it's really no different from its more expensive counterpart pure.
