FM40 STYLE | SPRING CAPSULE WARDROBE (French Style) PART TWO

F E E L I N G  B L U E

Whilst we all know the important and versatility of a crisp white shirt, nothing looks more fresh and sophisticated than a pale blue shirt. Like a white shirt, the perfect partner to denim and navy.

You can either go for a classic blue shirt with collars popped, sleeves rolled back and a few buttons underdone for a cool Tomboy look with jeans and navy converse. Or wear it with leather tan sandals and a little tan boho bag for a relaxed cool look.

I am very tempted to get this blue shirt from Sezane as my old Gap one has seen better days, below is  the founder of Sezane, Morgane Sezalory wearing hers ...... I just love that sophisticated, effortless style French ladies do so well.

If you have a plain blue shirt in your wardrobe, you may want something with a little more detail, like the Claudie Pierlot striped shirt in the top picture, which is really pretty and sold out most places, but I have found it in limited sizes here.

I love all things blue and white stripes, gorgeous with either blue or white denim in spring/summer.

Sezane Capucine Shirt

This is the other Sezane shirt I am thinking about ..... can you tell I am slightly obsessed? I have seen this pretty shirt popping up all over my feed ..... in fact one of my favourite Instagram French girls @Babiolesdezoe has both of the blue Sezane shirts I like.

Which one do I go for ..... my wardrobe needs a classic blue shirt, but the ruffle one is pulling my heart strings. Decisions ..... decisions........

Oh and you can't beat a denim shirt .... Love the look of this one, the wash is perfect for spring/summer.
