I have been spring cleaning my wardrobe and throwing out old damaged pieces, giving mistakes away to charity or re-selling them to try and edit my wardrobe and have only things I truly love hanging up in my wardrobe.

I tend to repeat buy and wear the same types of things, which is fine as having a 'uniform' is good and I totally recommend it. Once you have found a style that suits stick with it and just update with a few on trend accessories.

My style is pretty plain and simple with a big French girl influence....I tend to keep to neutral colours and I have tried to build up core pieces that will never date and that will take me anywhere.

Soon we will be able to ditch the heavy coats, knits and embrace our spring wardrobes and what would I advise you to buy if you need a little spring wardrobe update?

For today we will look at white pretty blouses, be a ruffle neckline, cuff, broidery anglaise or lace..... I just love them, they look fresh teamed with denim and can be smarted up to the office with black trousers.

Style Tip: For spring don't go too boho, you don't want the sleeves to be too full, you want them to fit nicely under a blazer, trench or cardigan.

Here are a few of my current favourites, I have separated them into save, spend and splurge
categories for you.

I have this and this one hanging in my wardrobe and would absolutely love this one or this by Maje. I also really like the simplicity of this blouse in either short or long sleeve. It would look lovely under a blazer or cardigan. Finally, if you like to cover your bum then, this one is perfect!

Next, we will look at another french classic ........ the blue shirt.
